St. Raphael is an angel named in the Old Testament and is known for his healing intercession. In fact, the word Raphael in Hebrew can be rendered as "God heals," "divine healer," or "remedy of God." His angelic mission on earth is to heal, which is very important for those suffering in any way.
While there is never a guarantee that a physical ailment will be healed through his intercession, God will always hear our prayers and, if it is in his will, grant us physical or spiritual healing.

How to pray the Chaplet of St. Raphael the Archangel
The specific chaplet for this devotion has a set of nine beads, with three beads on the end. This makes for a total of 12 beads in addition to a medal of St. Raphael. If you do not own this chaplet, a rosary could work in place of it.
After making the sign of the cross, pray this prayer on the medal:
You are Raphael the Healer,
You are Raphael the Guide,
You are Raphael the Companion
Ever at human sorrow’s aide.
On the first three beads of the chaplet, say the Hail Mary prayer, directing it to Mary, the Queen of Angels.
On the next nine beads, pray in honor of the nine angelic choirs the following prayer, once in honor of each choir (Angels, Archangels, Thrones, Dominations, Virtues, Principalities, Powers, Cherubim and Seraphim):
Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of Hosts.
Heaven and earth are full of your Glory!
Glory be to the Father:
Glory be to the Son;
Glory be to the Holy Spirit!
Conclude the Chaplet with the following prayer:
