How one mom got her priest on board to make confession a family-friendly affair
With family confession a regular monthly event, parents are seeing fruits well beyond what they initially expected.
Fr. David Poecking
Fr. David Poecking was born in Buffalo, New York, and studied math at Carnegie Mellon University. After a few years as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer and a math teacher, he entered seminary at The Catholic University of America. He was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Pittsburgh in 1996, and since then has served at several parishes and as director of continuing education of clergy for the Diocese. Fr. Dave currently pastors St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Carnegie, Pennsylvania.
