After 14 Years of Abstinence, He’s Wondering if He’ll Ever Find “The One”

In 2002, Eduardo Verástegui took a vow of abstinence after re-discovering his faith under the wing of his then voice coach, Jasmine O’Donnell. “She would ask me a lot of questions, without judging me, like ‘What’s your life’s purpose?’ ‘What motivates you to wake up every day?’ ‘Who do you live for and who do you die for?’ ‘What does God mean to you?’” Verástegui said during an interview in 2013. “That helped me understand that I was full of contradictions. My faith wasn’t the center of my life. Not because I didn’t want it to be, but because I didn’t know better.” Fast-forward three years, the 41-year-old actor is still being truthful to his beliefs and proudly admits he has been celibate for 14 years. On Thursday, the “Little Boy” producer was presented with the Veritas 2016 award at the Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico, where he was questioned about his current status.
“The ideal woman for me will be the one I get married to,” the Tamaulipas-born told Mexican newspaper Reforma. “What does she look like? I don’t know, I’m still waiting for her. I’m looking right, back, front, up, to see where she is.”
The actor added that even though he would love to meet “the one,” sometimes what we want is not in God’s plan, so we have to learn to accept God’s will.

Read it all. Sorry, ladies, I don’t have his phone number.
