As luck (or the Holy Spirit) would have it, my office closes early tomorrow and I’ll be able to take the short walk from my desk to this beautiful church for a special Holy Hour. Won’t you join me? If not with your presence, with your prayers?

From Kathryn Jean Lopez:

We must pray unceasingly for those who suffer from the unmerciful culture of death, laid bare in recent days and weeks with the Planned Parenthood videos we’ve seen and read about. In New York Friday (July 31) at 3 P.M. there will be a special holy hour for mercy, healing, and reparation. Please join us in prayer in person or wherever you are. Friday, July 31 at 3 P.M. A Holy Hour with Eucharistic Exposition for Mercy, Healing & Reparation   @ St. Vincent Ferrer Church 869 Lexington Ave (@66th Street) New York, NY 10065 Sponsored by: The Pro-Life Commission of the Archdiocese of New York

For the sake of his sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world…
