Her obit:

Gloria Rose Fallon, 68, of Bronxville, New York, died Saturday, November 4, 2017 in Manhattan. Born in Brooklyn on January 5, 1949, Gloria is the daughter of the late Thomas and Gloria Hovelsen Feeley. Gloria is survived by her husband, James W. Fallon and her children, Jimmy and Gloria Fallon, her brother Thomas Feeley, sister Joan Higgins and grandchildren Alexandra, Nicholas, Winnie and Frances. Soon after their children were born, Gloria and Jim Fallon moved from Brooklyn to the town of Saugerties, New York, where they lived for almost 40 years. In 2012, they moved to Bronxville to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Loving and loyal, Gloria was always full of fun and was the life of every party she attended. She loved to sing, read, cook and make people laugh. Her life was filled with family, music and lots of laughter. She touched everyone she met with her kindness, her cooking and her sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her Funeral Service was held at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc., corner of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Thence to the St. Mary of the Snow Church where a Mass of Christian Burial was held. Interment followed in the St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery. Donations can be sent in her name to Saugerties Public Library, 91 Washington Avenue, Saugerties, NY 12477.

From Variety:

…Fallon described his childhood with mom Gloria, dad Jim and sister Gloria in a 2004 New York magazine article. “My dad was in Vietnam, and he was in a doo-wop group,” Fallon said. “My mom was like a total square; she wasn’t allowed to leave her stoop in Brooklyn. She was a nun for about a month, but then she was like, ‘You know what? I didn’t get the calling!’ Ha!” He told Howard Stern that his mother was a nun on an episode of “The Howard Stern Show” as well. He said his parents grew up together and met in high school, and that she was only a nun for about a week.
