Saint of the Day: Sts Cornelius and Cyprian

Powerful testimony: “I am a man with Down syndrome, and my life is worth living.”

Screencapture/PBS

Elizabeth Scalia - published on 10/27/17

This needs no commentary. It’s powerful, moving, and  terrific. Frank Stephens is a gift and his words are worth heeding. He is speaking here not just to Congress, but to all of us; not just of Down syndrome but about his mother’s Alzheimer’s disease which “has already begun to steal my mom from me…”

Well done, and admirable.  Watch and share the whole thing.
