Brenda and Curt Heuer have hosted 52 foster children since they began opening their home to children in need 12 years ago. In February of 2015 a group of 5 siblings came to their door and they developed such a strong bond that Brenda and Curt knew they needed to make sure that all 5 of them would stay together. So they adopted them all:

“We decided to do it on National Adoption Day, because how fun is that? And there are a ton of parties and celebrations going on.” She said that they’re going to take the siblings, ages 2, 3, 6, 7 and 9, to Disneyland for their adoption celebration. The children have been living with the Heuers since February 2015, and now they’re a part of their forever family. Even though they’ve just added five new members to their household, the Heuers aren’t ruling out the possibility of fostering more children.

The Heuers are really the best kind of people. They have given so much to children in need and even after adopting 5 they maintain a “You never know” attitude toward the possibility of fostering more. Thank you for your works of mercy. We wish you all the best on your family’s happy new life.
