Today, Laura Yeager recounted a charming tale of an encounter with a friendly woman in a thrift shop. A similar taste in jewelry and plates kept them bumping into each other throughout the store. By checkout they were praying together and exchanging numbers, already fast friends:
What happened in the thrift store was the most spontaneous religious experience I’d ever had. I praise God that He appears to us when we need him most. He appeared to me in the form of a Colombian lady with similar taste to mine in a thrift store in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, in the middle of May of 2016.
Your correspondent’s mother claims to have met her guardian angel on several occasions. While I do believe in things seen and unseen, I prefer to think that these are just normal people guided by the Holy Spirit. Cue the dinner debate which leaves my father rubbing his temples.
