The owners of Petro’s Lunch Diner in Chicopee, Massachusetts have purchased an abandoned funeral home, which they intend to turn into an Ice Cream parlor. They promise the new shop will provide “A taste to die for”.

The owners of Petros Breakfast and Lunch Diner in Chicopee decided that this was the perfect opportunity to venture out and provide a family friendly summer stop in the heart of the city. “I have three little girls, so every summer, I love to take them out. Every day I drove to work, I would say that’s a great place,” said Petros Mirisis, who owns Petros Breakfast and Lunch. Mirisis noted that his new venture just made sense to him. “I think I can do it, turn the funeral home into an ice cream shop. People are gonna like it,” Mirisis added.

Okay, but we can only guess how they’ll play this out. We’re picturing Banana Splits served in “souvenir” toy coffins. We can’t wait to order a Marshmallow Morgue Sundae, or a Blood Orange Sherbet!

It wouldn’t be the strangest
