An 11-year-old girl in Russia was able to bypass airport security, boarding a plane from Moscow to St.Petersberg. Apparently she just walked on to the plane and no one questioned it, which makes us wonder, where else could one wind up if you just act like you belong? The flight from Moscow to St.Petersberg averages at about an hour and a half, and it was after this time that her family realized she was missing:

When her own family noticed that she was missing, they called her cell phone and asked where she was. When she told them she was at Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg, they contacted authorities who tracked her down and brought her back to Moscow.

What seems like a light-hearted adventure, however, has led to a government investigation and what we can only imagine will be a sizable lawsuit:

The girl’s mother said she plans to sue both the airline and Moscow airport for their failure to perform proper safety checks.

Perhaps when everything is settled the mother will invest in a dog, so that these things don’t happen again.
