The miraculous story of Bryce Hale, just a baby, who survived being ejected from a car during an accident is heartwarming to say the least.
The family vehicle flipped over and eight-month-old Bryce Hale was ejected. The infant’s mother, Jakesia Colson, and other passengers gathered themselves and began searching for Bryce, but they couldn’t find her anywhere. “I started running up and down the highway looking everywhere for her, calling her name,” Colson told KSLA. “I didn’t hear a baby crying, no baby screaming, nothing. I panicked. I thought she was gone. It was the worst 15 minutes of my life, trying to look for her.” Rescuers arrived and zeroed in on a patch of hay in the median after hearing a sound. To their amazement, searchers found the infant inside a storm drain — 25 feet off the road. They believe the child rolled down a hill and into the drain.
We were taken by how much her survival touched the emergency workers, who all too often see these situations work out for the worse.
Cheers to the workers who found her and to Bryce and her mom. We are so glad that you’re all right.
