Mike Javanjee is an avid boater and was enjoying his hobby when he saw a little gosling struggling in the water. Fearful that it might drown he scooped it up, named it Kyle (Before he knew she was a girl) and started taking the little down covered baby everywhere with him. He never imagined what would happen next:
“One of my friends noticed her drowning in the water, almost desperate and alone and any minute she woulda been run over by a boat. I just figured I would keep it alive until long enough to be an adult and fend for itself, but she never left. I tried to get rid of her, ya know, I’ve driven her miles away and left her there and when I come back she’s already home before me, so there’s not much we can do.”
The goose follows him all over the place, in the different shots of the interview you can see her either flying or walking behind him, or even swimming in the background. Mike claims that when there is a woman around, Kyle stays even closer, identifying a ‘female threat’ to her territory.
Cheers to Mike for his act of mercy that lead to a life long friendship. Today both are smitten with each other and spend most of their days playing.
