Three Sheepdog puppies have been rescued from the Rigopiano Hotel, which was buried under an avalanche last Wednesday.

Emergency crews found the puppies in the Rigopiano Hotel’s boiler room after hearing faint barking. The search is ongoing for at least 15 people still missing after the disaster, as crews continue to dig by hand, by shovel and even by chainsaw. Officials say at least 14 people died and another 11 were rescued alive. The first survivors were recently released from a nearby hospital.

The discovery of these adorable fluff-balls gives rescue workers renewed hope that more will be found alive.

The people still trapped under snow are in our prayers.
