A regular in gangster movies, the practicing Catholic shared in an interview that the only place where he was allowed to behave like a child was in “church, school, and the cinema.” At the beginning of the 1970s, after a sudden break with religion, Al Pacino started to return to church -- interestingly during the filming of The Godfather.
