18. San Luigi dei francesi: Saint Louis of the French is a church located on a street parallel to Piazza Navona. There you will find three masterpieces by Michelangelo Merisi, who is also called Caravaggio, or the second Michelangelo. These represent a narrative of important moments in the life of the Evangelist Saint Matthew: “The Call of Saint Matthew”, “The Martyrdom of Saint Matthew”, and “Saint Matthew and the Angel.”
