An example of the Hodigitria icon, also known as She Who Shows the Way. This one is from the 16th century and is currently housed in the Historic Museum in Sanok, Poland.
An example of the Eleousa icon, also known as the Lovingkindness or Merciful Theotokos. This example is known as the The Cambrai Madonna. It is in the Italo-Byzantine style dating to around 1340 in Cambrai Cathedral.

The Orans icon, also known as Our Lady of the Sign. This one dates back to the 18th century. It is on the iconostasis the Transfiguration church, Kizhi monastery in Karelia, Russia.
