SAINT QUENTIN: Born in Rome, Saint Quentin, who was a Christian, left with his companions (including Saint Lucian of Beauvais) to evangelize Picardy. The success of his evangelization work angered the prefect Rictiovare, who arrested him at Soissons. He subjected him to interrogations and numerous tortures. The "acts" of his life say that they thrust a spike through his whole body, from his shoulders to his thighs.
