A Man for All Seasons (1966)

This 1966 film is based on the life of St. Thomas More, a man of steadfast faith, who paid the ultimate price when he defied King Henry VIII by refusing to recognize Henry's decision to divorce his wife, remarry and establish the Church of England. A "man for all seasons," More was known for his scholarly, legal, and political achievements as well as for his deep spirituality.
