Harry Bernstein
When his wife died after 67 years of marriage, Bernstein felt compelled to write his memoir The Invisible Wall: A Love Story That Broke Barriers. The book addressed a number of issues, including the loss of lives among his fellow English Jews and Christians in WWI. He was 93 when he wrote it, and it was published when he was 96 years young!
