Escomb Church
Escomb boasts one of the oldest Anglo-Saxon churches in the world, and one of only three complete Anglo-Saxon churches to remain in England. The building was unused for most of the 20th century while a new St. John's parish was built to tend to Escomb's flock. St. John's has since been demolished, yet the Escomb church still stands, once again functioning as the Church of England parish of the area.
