Strength in the face of tests
These days, doctors often order extra sonograms and blood tests to gain more information about the baby. Some information can be of help to assist in the safe delivery of a child -- for example, if a heart problem is discovered through tests in utero, arrangements can be made to have extra support at delivery and to have the baby immediately operated on if necessary. However, many of the same tests that can provide such potentially life-saving information can also provide more opportunities for worry and even false alarms. The extra strength you'll need to get through these tests comes from God.
