Pay attention to what you say
What people say at home can sometimes lack the tact of even the most basic psychology: "Are you jealous?," "Are you happy to have a little brother or sister?," "You're going to have to share all your toys now," "You're not the little one anymore." These questions and comments may inadvertently push children to distrust their new baby brother or sister.
