Horseshoe charm
The horseshoe is related to the "luck of the Irish," with one being placed above a front door with the open ends up to make sure the luck doesn't run out. Traditionally a bride would be given a horseshoe on her wedding day, which her groom would then put up in their home. Today a bride might opt to carry a decorative horseshoe as an accessory, or even have horseshoes incorporated into their table decorations.
