Pride and Prejudice
The affectionate relationship between sisters Jane and Elizabeth and their on-again, off-again love stories are a pleasure to watch. The mother-daughter relationship in this movie is an example of "what not to do," but it only adds to the humor in this witty, heartfelt story that has stood the test of time as a novel and then as several movie adaptations (all excellent!).
