St. Joan of Arc - showing remarkable courage
It's difficult to think of today's teen leading her country into war. Yet the Maid of Orleans not only showed courage when she donned her armor to fight the English in the 15th century, but when accused of being a heretic, she preferred to face the painful death of being burned at the stake rather than denouncing her faith and convictions.
