Barber said that carpenters say, "Don't bring a level to an old house;" in a crooked house, what's actually level appears to be crooked. Carpenters must use good judgment so that the project fits the situation. Similarly, prayer helps us make prudent and wise decisions that make the most sense for our circumstances.
