A shrine grotto was first built in 1879 to replicate the grotto at Lourdes. Nearby there is a local tap where you can take "Grotto Water," which is from a local spring. Their
website states, "Many believe that it’s cleansing and healthy for the body and soul; others believe it can heal. Although there are no documented miracles, many have reported favors and graces from drinking the Grotto Water."
