Peace brokers
You know that feeling when your kids are bickering over who eats the final cookie and you calmly try and help them find a peaceful solution (snap that cookie in two, kiddos!)? Well, earlier saints also had to regularly resolve conflicts. Catherine of Siena was sent to Florence on a peace mission, and St. Rita had to broker peace between warring families before she could join a convent. (Prayers to her patron saints proved vital in her success.)
