Make space for emotional acceptance
The fourth trimester can bring all kinds of mixed emotions. Along with the joy over a new baby, you might experience the “baby blues” or birth trauma, or even postpartum anxiety or depression. Take some time to think and pray about everything that has changed in your life, and ask God to give you His peace. (And of course, do talk to your doctor and seek professional help if needed.)
