Grand Canyon Railway’s Polar Express, Williams, Arizona
The historic
Grand Canyon Railway was originally created in the late 1800s by entrepreneur Buckey O'Neill to access the ore mines he owned in the area. But when he realized that the epic beauty of Grand Canyon could easily attract tourists, O'Neill turned part of the train into a tool to enjoy spectacular views of the valley. The Grand Canyon Railway has been synonymous with Grand Canyon exploration ever since. And from November through January, the railway turns into a wondrous Christmas ride, offering a visit to a replica of the North Pole after a 90-minute ride filled with cookie eating and hot chocolate sipping. Santa and reindeer are included!
