Lord Nicholas Windsor
The Duchess of Kent's third child, Nicholas, decided to convert to Catholicism in 2001 at age 31 after hearing Pope John Paul II on EWTN. Baptized in the Church of England, he was the first royal male to convert in four centuries, and in doing so he gave up his right to succession to the British throne. He is an active charity worker, being appointed to the Pontifical Academy for Life among other pro-life institutes.
