Give a world view
Many of us heard "there are children starving in Africa" growing up. The problem is Africa is thousands of miles away, making it feel intangible to a youngster. However, you could sponsor a child in a developing country, and your kids could write to them and learn about their life. This can help them develop empathy and gratitude.
