St. Catherine of Alexandria
This young saint, who died in the 4th century, was both a scholar and a princess. During the Christian persecutions the brave teen went to Emperor Maximian to confront him about his cruel actions. There she was faced with the best philosophers and orators, with whom she eloquently debated her faith. She won, but was martyred -- after many attempts -- at around the age of 18.
