Deepened sensitivity
When I teared up watching a TV commercial, my husband lovingly teased, “Wow, you are so pregnant!” I blame it on the hormones, but during this time, my heart is deeply attuned to others’ hardships and emotions. This can be pretty funny, but I like to see it as a time when I have extra sensitivity and caring for those around me.
