This 53-year-old delivery driver couldn't bear to see the elderly and vulnerable go hungry when delivery slots were all filled up, so after work he delivered groceries in his own car to those in need. He encouraged colleagues to help out, and along with his wife and daughter, managed the shopping, purchasing, and delivery of goods for 15 weeks. He was awarded a BEM: British Empire Medal.
