Don't mock your child
Your teen will do things, say things, and wear things that will tempt you to burst out laughing. Don't. They're trying to find their way. Some things you just have to let go of, and others you'll have to approach with kindness. Don't make them feel stupid. Make them feel supported and loved, and they will then return this in their behavior towards others.
