Clove
As fall settles in you might be spicing up your drinks, desserts, or Thanksgiving ham with some cloves. Any name that also has the word "love" in it is a winner, but it's also very close to the first King of the Franks, Clovis I. His conversion to Catholicism in 496 led to the conversion of many Frankish people, and would ultimately lead to a religious unification in what is now France.
