The Church of the Nativity
Dorothy Day's home parish, the Church of the Nativity, at 44 Second Avenue between 2nd and 3rd Streets in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, was built in 1970. It was deconsecrated in 2017 and sold in 2020. Day's funeral Mass was celebrated there in December 1980.
