Stars of the show

Last year's crowd heard their heartbeats, and this year's gathering in San Francisco were able to see how cute they look: babies whose mothers amplified the sounds in their wombs now showed off the children who were born since then.

Strong turnout

An estimated 50,000 persons came out to hear speeches and march for the cause of life.

The pro-life generation

Crowds at the West Coast version of the March for Life, like the one that takes place in Washington, D.C., seem to be getting younger and younger.

Getting inspiration

Crowds heard from a variety of speakers before setting out on foot.

All lives matter

The Rev. Clenard Childress of blackgenocide.org assured the crowd that “Abortion and Roe v. Wade’s days are numbered!”

Marching forward

Protesters hope for a day when they won't have to march, when all human life is protected by law.

Sign of the times

Protesters could get pretty clever with the hand-held signs they designed.

Faith, hope and charity

Some marchers displayed their religious affiliations, but all were united in their belief that they were doing the right thing for the unborn.
