June 30, 1951: celebration of the priesthood with the family
The Ratzinger parents saw two of their three children become priests. This was a great source of pride for Joseph and Maria, who both had a fervent faith and instilled a solid Christian education in their children. The father of the future Pope Benedict XVI, who was very devout, was always considered by his son as one of the triggers of his vocation.
