From 1934 to 1943: a model schoolboy
At school, Joseph was a rigorous and hard-working student, and above all, he was particularly gifted. He excelled at languages, but also at science. As his studies progressed, he learned Greek, Hebrew and Latin, and also developed a passion for literature and history.
