Tallinn, Estonia
When December comes Tallinn is usually covered by inches of bright white snow, making its Christmas markets an enchanting sight for adults and kids alike. The towering Christmas tree at the center of the market was first set up in 1441, making it one of the first Christmas trees put on public display in Europe. Visitors can enjoy sorting through local craftsmen's creations while enjoying typical Estonian Christmas foods like black pudding, sour cabbage and gingerbread sweets.
