St. Martin of Tours

Growing up in 4th-century Rome, Martin decided at the age of 10 to become a Christian. A few years after joining the army he became a conscientious objector, refusing to fight, and offered to go into battle unarmed. Released from the army, he started his religious journey to become a bishop, then saint.
