In the seminary, seminarians listen thousands of hours of lectures, conferences, and homilies. I remember most of all a homily during which the priest said that he didn't know if he could tell us this because he thought it would scandalise someone, but he felt that he should. And then he said:
- It is possible to eat two kilos of Holy Communion and completely miss out on Jesus!
Yes, it is possible to eat even more kilos of hosts without meeting him, if you lack faith.
