The statue of “Christ the Redeemer” in Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro is the second tallest statue of Jesus in the world. It is 30 meters high.
Poland's “Christ the King” is 33 meters tall (108 ft) -- a reference to Christ's age when he died.
It took five years to complete the stone and fiberglass statue located on top of a hill in Świebodzin, Poland.
Like Brazil's "Christ the Redeemer," the Polish statue has its arms open wide in blessing. One difference is that "Christ the King" bears an elaborate crown.
