Christ the Redeemer - Brazil
Quite possibly the most famous statue on this list, Christ the Redeemer is the pride of Rio de Janiero. This piece also was completed in 1931 and also drew upon the Art Deco style. Although it is not the tallest, it is made more grand by its location atop the Corcovado mountains, at 700 meters.
