Oblate Sisters of St. Joseph
St. Giuseppe Marello, founder of the Oblates of St. Joseph, also desired to begin an institute for women to consecrate themselves to God and be of help to his apostolate. But before anyone joined, he was elected as Bishop of Acqui, Italy.  In time, however, interest in the project sprang up in Brazil and in the Philippines. Today, the Oblate Sisters of St. Joseph can be found in those countries, as well as Peru, Nigeria, and in Rome.
