The Wignacourt Water Tower on the opposite side of the road from the church entrance. It was part of an aqueduct built in 17th century by the Order of St. John to bring water by gravity from high grounds around Mdina and Rabat to Floriana and Valletta. The tower also contains a fountain and a horse trough. It was restored between June 2015 and June 2016. The interior consists of a spiral staircase.
