"I've had 10 c-sections and I have always gone to confession as close to delivery as possible and asked our priest for a blessing since I know I’m going into surgery. I believe anyone going into any life-threatening surgery can ask for it. It really does help me to have peace, knowing I’ve gotten extra prayers beforehand."
