Parsley -- Exodus 12:8
Although it’s not mentioned directly in the Bible, parsley was prominently used in cooking throughout the Middle East region and at the Jewish Passover to symbolize new beginnings since it pops up in early spring. It's considered a "bitter herb," but it's used widely in European and North American dishes as both a dried spice and fresh herb.
